Kendrick Lamar's sixth studio album, GNX, is currently streaming on all major DSPs. The project was surprise-dropped on November 22, 2024, and was distributed via pgLang, under an exclusive license to Interscope Records.
After initially teasing the hook for squabble up in his Not Like Us music video, Kendrick confirmed rumors surrounding an upcoming album last Friday after unveiling the 12-track project.
Lamar's sixth studio album features guest appearances from some of West Coast's most talented hip-hop and R&B stars. Kendrick also teams up with producers DJ Mustard, Sounwave, Jack Antonoff, and Kamasi Washington, to assist with GNX's production.

Former TDE labelmate, SZA, teams up with Kendrick Lamar for two separate records on GNX.
Marking their fifth and sixth career collaborations, the R&B singer-songwriter first appears on a track titled luther, which revolves primarily around themes of love and relationships.
SZA also assists Kendrick in closing out his sixth studio album on the final track, gloria, which centers on Lamar's complicated relationship with his artistry and music. The TDE signee's vocal performances significantly help elevate the project's listening experience, delivering lines like:
"Gloria, I wanna take you to euphoria / B---hes want, but they ain't strong enough / I heard they talking, we notorious / If someone talking on me / I see you, you see me / Both see what we want, oh, oh / I see you, you see me / Both see what we want"
2) Deyra Barrera
The Spanish vocals that introduced several records on GNX are credited to Mariachi singer-songwriter Deyra Barrera. According to Rolling Stones, Barrera was invited to Kendrick Lamar's studio shortly after her performance at Game One of the MLB World Series, on October 26, 2024.
When working with Lamar and his team, Barrera explains being unsure about what she could offer to GNX, stating:
"I had no idea what I would record. I make mariachi, not rap. They told me they wanted my style, my voice. I had no idea how it was going to end up on the record."

3) Dody6
Kendrick Lamar teamed up with upcoming LA rapper, Dody6, for two records on GNX. It's unclear what transpired between Dody and the Grammy-winning rapper, which resulted in him securing two spots on K-Dot's sixth studio album.
Dody first appears as a feature on the West Coast-infused trap record, hey now, before assisting on the LP's ninth track peekaboo. Notable bars delivered by the upcoming LA artist were seen on hey now's final verse, where he raps:
"Eenie, meenie, miny, moe, I'm tryna tag a n---a toe / I'm aggressive on the beat and real life, n----s know / Ayy, I tatted up my body, it depend, level four / Ayy, I sharpened up a knife and came home to a blow / My b---h gon' get to tweakin' like she playin' with her nose"
4) Ink
Following her work on Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter album, Atlanta producer Ink teamed up with Kendrick Lamar, receiving multiple credits on GNX.

7) Lefty Gunplay
Marking his first collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, rapper Lefty Gunplay appears as a feature on tv off.
Lefty delivers an interesting outro, which seemingly references the mood of each of Kendrick's four diss tracks delivered this year, i.e. Euphoria, 6:16 in LA, Meet The Grahams, and Not Like Us.

YoungThreat enters as the final feature on the titular track, gnx, closing out the record with a braggadocious verse.

Following up on his collaboration with Kendrick Lamar on Not Like Us, DJ Mustard teamed up with the West Coast icon, assisting in co-producing the rapper's sixth studio album.
Speaking with Billboard, Mustard explained how he too was caught off guard after Kendrick Lamar surprise-dropped GNX on Friday night, citing how he expected the LP to be released closer to the rapper's upcoming Super Bowl LI halftime show.
"It was a surprise for me, just like it was a surprise for everybody else. I had been thinking maybe it’s going to come at the top of the year, maybe it’s going to come around the Super Bowl or whatever. When everybody’s in the house together. 10 minutes later, the album is out."
