Gazo, also known as Ibrahima Diakité, made headlines after his crew allegedly clashed with Offset’s team outside the Hotel Du Collectionneur in Paris. Billboard reported that the alleged incident happened on November 14, 2024.

30-year-old Gazo has gained recognition over the years as "The Prince of French Drill." He has two albums in his credits, including KMT and La Melo est Gangx, and is additionally popular for his singles like My Men, Kassav, La rue, and more.

According to the Independent, the alleged brawl happened when Offset was coming out of Hotel Du Collectionneur and while he entered his vehicle, he was confronted by Diakité's crew members, who were not satisfied with the artist's appearance in a music video.

Offset immediately stepped out of his car and things took a worse turn when the group on the other side reportedly started asking for a $150,000 refund they had paid upfront.

During the fight between both groups where they allegedly punched each other, a woman was knocked down. Offset was later slammed against a car and while he was stopped by a security guard, the artist managed to free himself and kick someone on the opposite side.

While the brawl continued, the security of the hotel immediately stepped in to break it. However, no one from both sides has been arrested until now despite that the cops arrived at the place a few moments later.

Notably, Gazo was absent at the time when the brawl happened and he is yet to share a response to everything that happened in Paris.

Gazo has gained recognition over the years for his hit singles

Ibrahima Diakité has been active in the music industry for around five years and has managed to deliver a few successful projects. His credits also include a mixtape, Drill FR, which came out back in 2021 and also grabbed a spot on top of the charts.

According to i-D magazine, Gazo's family members included four siblings and he had to deal with certain issues, including economic problems.

What The France stated that Ibrahima spent his childhood in Saint-Denis, Paris, which has recorded the highest crime rates and is a common spot for gangs and violent activities. Notably, Gazo addressed the same in the singles, including Cache Cou, featured on the soundtrack of his mixtape. While speaking to i-D magazine in 2022, Gazo also stated:

"I don't share much about myself. And what I do share, I tell in a fairly vague way. I don't want to say everything I have to say in my early albums. I want to set aside some material for later. I want to beat around the bush a little, save some stories for other projects."

Drill FR helped in expanding his fanbase and he decided to try something else apart from the drill rapping. His first album KMT was released in 2022 and it featured guest appearances by artists like Damso, Ninho, and Tiakola.
