More details about Lady Gaga's LG7 collaborator Gessaffelstein explored

"Die With a Smile is on my record": Lady Gaga confirms track on LG7
Lady Gaga spoke to the Los Angeles Times on December 19, 2024, and confirmed that her song Die With a Smirk will be a part of LG7. Gaga recorded the song with Bruno Mars and told the interviewer that the song was a "huge part" of the upcoming album.
"Absolutely. “Die With a Smile” is on my record — it’s a huge part of my album. It was like this missing piece. The record is full of my love of music — so many different genres, so many different styles, so many different dreams."
The Just Dance singer said that the new release leaps around genre "in a way that's almost corrupt" and ends in love. She added that is the answer to all the chaos in her life, that she finds peace with love.
As she discussed the songs she had written, Lady Gaga added that each one of the songs swept her away in the different dreams she had about the past. The singer said the dreams were a recollection of the bad decisions she made in her life, "but it ends in this very happy place."
In the interview, Lady Gaga was asked if her track Die With a Smile existed in a world connected to the Joker or Harlequin. This was because the singer released a companion album called Harlequin in September 2024, in connection to the movie Joker: Folie à Deux.
However, Gaga denied that Die With a Smile was related to the movie or the companion album.
"But that was happening in my life at the time we wrote it and made it, so it’s hard to say no entirely because these things always ricochet off each other," she noted.
Gaga added that the humor present in the Die With a Smile video must have had something to do with an idea bouncing around inside her head. She said that the idea was of a sad story with some comedy and that singing about dying is not usually associated with smiling.
According to a September 2024 report by Vogue, the publication mentioned that Lady Gaga spent a lot of time at Shangri-La, the Malibu recording studio in 2024. The article mentioned that Gaga's upcoming album LG7 is set to come out in February 2025 and that the singer released its first single, Disease, in October 2024.
