On December 30, 2024, MAF Teeski was arrested in Springfield, Illinois, after a gun was allegedly found in his possession, reported Hyperfresh. A video of the rapper being taken into custody gained a lot of attention on social media where he was spotted getting handcuffed by the police officers.

For the unversed, Teeski is a 26-year-old rapper who has been working with the record label Dubb Block Entertainment. He has accumulated a huge fanbase on different social media platforms. He has a few albums in his credits such as Slick SZN and Free da Sackchase.

The arrest clip obtained by Raphouse TV showed MAF Teeski questioning the police on what they were doing as they put handcuffs on him. The artist's manager also appeared in the video while speaking to the cops and the entire area was surrounded by police cars.

The conversation of Teeski's manager with the police hinted that he was seemingly going to perform somewhere and the authorities could not allow him to go inside with a gun. However, further updates on the circumstances leading to his arrest are currently awaited.

A joint Instagram post shared by My Mixtapez and Hood Morning TV on December 30, 2024, included the police report where the charges imposed on MAF Teeski were listed. Apart from that, the report did not disclose anything about when Teeski was arrested and when he would be taken to court.

The report revealed that three charges were imposed on MAF, starting with an aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on a person or vehicle. This was followed by unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and firearms possession.

Born on June 10, 1998, MAF Teeski has become a popular face in the hip-hop industry for his unique rapping skills. According to Vinyl Me Please, the Chicago, Illinois native grew up listening to artists such as Pooh Shiesty and Lil Durk, alongside some local artists, due to which he developed an interest in music.

While appearing for an interview with No Jumper last year, MAF Teeski addressed the meaning behind the word MAF, saying that it refers to money and family. He elaborated on the same and stated:
