Rapper Curtis James Jackson III, aka 50 Cent, recently performed in Canada over his birthday weekend on July 7, 2024. During the concert, he took digs at Rick Ross, who recently got involved in a physical interaction at a concert in Vancouver.
Rick Ross and Curtis Jackson have been beefing since the late 2000s, and 50 took the latest opportunity to make jokes at Ross's expense. The Window Shopper rapper told the audience:
“I can’t believe what y’all did to Rick Ross. You f**ked him up.” Who said Canada was soft? Who said that s**t?"
The rapper also joked about spotting the man who tried to hit Rick Ross, aka Rozay, during the physical interaction and asked the random person if it was he who did it.
"They beat Rick Ross the f**k up": 50 Cent comments on Rick being attacked at Vancouver concert
Concertgoers allegedly attacked Rick Ross during his concert at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver on June 30, 2024. According to TMZ, the brawl took place when Ross stepped offstage and got into an argument with some men at the concert over him ending his set with Kendrick Lamar's Not Like Us.
About 15 people formed a human wall around Rick Ross so his crew couldn't move around, and one of the men reportedly tried to throw a punch at Ross. However, Rozay told the publication that he or his team didn't suffer any serious injuries and that all was fair in the 2024 rap wars.
Apart from making jokes at Ross during his concert, 50 Cent also posted a video on Instagram showcasing a montage of his set. At the start of the video, American rapper Uncle Murda made a comment indirectly hinting at Ross and stated:
“We’re going to Canada, and we ain’t them other n***as, you heard.”
Moreover, at the end of the video, 50 Cent is seen leaving the concert with fans surrounding his car. At the time, the rapper commented:
“They f**k with me out here. They beat Rick Ross the f**k up.”
Additionally, the 21 Questions rapper also posted a video of Rick Ross leaving his Vancouver concert after the physical altercation, captioning it "The Great Escape." In his caption, the rapper also mentioned, "The chasers, they are chasing me."
Apart from 50 Cent, Drake also indirectly participated in the ongoing controversy surrounding Ross's recent concert in Canada by liking an Instagram post.
An Instagram page called @keep6ixsolid posted information about Rick Ross inserting himself in Drake and Kendrick's feud and also stated that one shouldn't come to Canada if they have issues with Drake.
Curtis Jackson and Rick Ross have had a feud for over a decade, which is why the In da Club rapper didn't leave a chance to troll Rick over the recent incident in Vancouver.
The beef between the rappers began at a BET event in the late 2000s, wherein 50 Cent allegedly gave Rick an unfriendly stare, which led to Rick targeting Curtis Jackson's personal life in the 2009 track Mafia Music.
Since then, the two rappers have always commented on one another, either during interviews or via diss tracks.
