Sara Rivers, a former associate of Sean “Diddy” Combs, recently claimed that Combs made disturbing cannibalistic threats to her bandmates during the making of the 2002 reality TV show Making the Band 2.

“When he got angry with one of my band members, he said, ‘You make me so mad I want to eat your flesh,’” Rivers alleged.

Rivers, an ex-member of the hip-hop group Da Band, made these claims in the Peacock documentary special Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, released on January 14, 2025.

In another alleged incident, Rivers claimed Combs behaved in a "crazy" manner and warned a bandmate who had rolled their eyes.

“You know, I could go get a crackhead and pay them $20 to smack the sh*t out of you,” Combs said as per Rivers.

Sara Rivers is an actress and singer who was part of Diddy’s Da Band from 2002 to 2004. In the documentary, she also alleged that she was “intimidated” by the Bad Boy Records owner and accused him of touching her “in a place that he shouldn’t have,” calling it “inappropriate.”

"It’s been 20 years of going through my mind. This has happened, that’s happened, this was stopped. Mentally draining," she shared.

Rivers claimed she never wanted to be around Diddy “unless there were cameras.” Choking up, she shared being “definitely nervous” as she hadn’t spoken about her experiences for “so long” that they “built up.”

Elsewhere, Sara Rivers addressed the infamous anecdote where Combs asked Da Band members to walk from Manhattan to Brooklyn to get him Junior's cheesecake.

“We walked for eight hours over the Brooklyn Bridge. We went from Manhattan to Brooklyn, walking. And so I’m doing that stuff because I’m like, ‘I ain’t gonna go home, this is what I’ve been working for,’” Rivers shared.

"Irresponsible journalism of the worst kind"— Diddy's legal team on the Peacock documentary

Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy is now streaming on Peacock. It explores the rise and fall of the rapper. In the wake of its release, Combs’ legal team told The Hollywood Reporter:

“This documentary recycles and perpetuates the same lies and conspiracy theories that have been slung against Mr. Combs for months. It is disappointing to see NBC and Peacock rolling in the same mud as unethical tabloid reporters. By providing a platform for proven liars and opportunists to make false criminal accusations, the documentary is irresponsible journalism of the worst kind.”

The 90-minute documentary includes accounts from several Combs associates, including former employees, associates, bodyguards such as Gene Deal, childhood friends, and more. The most significant one is from Al B. Sure!
