Well-known attorney Tony Buzbee has recently filed a new lawsuit against Sean 'Diddy' Combs, representing around 50 clients allegedly claiming to have been sexually assaulted and abused by him alongside his associates. The case would be represented by The Buzbee Law Firm alongside Ava Law Group.
Tony has described himself as a trial lawyer on his LinkedIn page, handling some of the country's biggest and most high-profile cases. His clients also include Governor Rick Perry.
Tony Buzbee shared the details of the lawsuit through his official Instagram page on September 27, 2024. He wrote below the post:
"This group of brave individuals include both men and women; many were minors when the abuse occurred. Some of these brave individuals reported the incidents to the police, others did not. Each individual story is gut wrenching and heartbreaking."
The post also addressed the alleged s*x events called "Freak-Offs", with Tony Buzbee saying that he was expecting those involved in the case to get punished. He continued by stating that his firm was proud to represent all whose lives were impacted by Diddy and his associates.
"We expect to have a press conference early next week where some of these stories can be told as the nation learns more and grapples with the potential scope of this scandal. Our firm has always been at the forefront of the most important cases in the United States."
The post ended by requesting any other victims to get in touch with Buzbee's law firm, adding that the details won't be revealed to anyone.
Tony Buzbee has a long list of experience as an attorney over the years
The Houston, Texas native's father was a butcher and high school cafeteria worker. Before his successful career in the world of law, he joined the Corps of Cadets as a Battalion Commander. He also launched the Buzbee Leadership Learning Center.
Tony's LinkedIn profile states that he completed his higher studies at Texas A&M University and the University of Houston Law Center. He was also a part of the Marine Corps where he received the top leadership score and served in the Persian Gulf and Somalian conflicts as an infantry officer.
Furthermore, Tony Buzbee became a Recon officer for the Recon Company of the First Marine Regiment. He was additionally a recipient of different accolades at the same time, including the Navy Commendation Medal.
Starting from 1997, he began his full-time career as an attorney where he served as a federal judge at the U.S. District Court. He then came to the Susman Godfrey LLP the following year, where he worked until 1999. As mentioned, he is currently a managing attorney at The Buzbee Law Firm and the job description reads:
"I manage more than 100 employees in two offices, and fifteen lawyers. Our team manages and litigates more than fifty thousand cases at any one time."
Tony Buzbee was previously a member of the Board of Regents at the Texas A&M University System. The board is responsible for handling the administration and ensuring the best educational experience for everyone alongside promoting academic research.
His name was also featured in a biography by Michael Lee Lanning, titled Defining Moments. Buzbee was also chosen as Aggie Lawter of the Year in 2017 by the Texas Aggie Bar Association.
