She attended the awards in a black, low-cut gown which was revealing on the back side garnering mixed responses comprising body shaming comments from people on videos and photos of the singer from the awards.
However, her fans were loving the outfit and posted positive comments which she retweeted as well. Additionally, the BRIT Awards X account posted an uncensored footage of the Have Fun! singer at the ceremony jokingly stating that CMAT was at the "B**T Awards" and not the BRIT Awards to which the singer replied:
"the chats i had in the girlie toilet at the Brit awards might have given us world peace btw . everyone seemed to love my crack."
The 2 Wrecked 2 Care singer's banter over footage of her BRIT Awards ceremony extended to her Instagram post on March 3, 2024 wherein she mentioned having the most fun but also jokingly targetted broadcasting network ITV.
CMAT tagged the broadcasting network and said that they will pay for editing her b**t crack from the money of their broadcast reruns. She sarcastically mentioned that the network must "give the people what they deserve" or she will set her fans on them. The singer also stated that this is a "#feud officially".
CMAT's tweet expressing disappointment in BBC having to turn off comments under her performance video generated support from her fans who praised her work under the tweet.
In other news, the No More Virgos singer pulled out her participation from the Latitude Festival in Suffolk as a form of protest to Barclays Bank sponsoring the festival. The bank has been accused of increasing its investment in arms companies engaged in trade with Israel.
According to BBC, CMAT mentioned in a statement that she won't allow her precious work "to get into bed with violence."
