According to a report by TMZ dated November 29, 2024, law enforcement sources reported that former My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar was found dead in his Tennessee residence. The former MCR drummer was last seen alive on November 4, 2024, and a medical examiner is investigating the manner and cause of his death.
Bob Bryar was a drummer for the rock band My Chemical Romance from 2004 to 2010. According to a report by The Things dated September 2023, MTV stated that MCR's band members didn't talk about a specific reason behind Bryar's departure from the band, however, sources reported that there had been a fight.
As per My Chemical Romance's Wiki page, in an interview with the Spin in November 2010, the band's producer Rob Cavallo talked about Bryar's exit from the band. Cavallo said:

On March 3, 2010, My Chemical Romance announced via their official website that Bob Bryar wasn't a part of the band. The rock band's rhythm guitarist Frank Iero shared on the website that as a band they had been very fortunate that their sweet times outweighed their sour ones, owing it to the fans.
Announcing Bryar's departure from My Chemical Romance, Frank Iero said:
"Which is why we wanted this news to come from us and not some bullsh-- gossip site. As of 4 weeks ago, My Chemical Romance and Bob Bryar parted ways."
Frank also said that it was a painful decision for the band to make and it wasn't taken lightly. The band's rhythm guitarist added that the band wishes Bryar the best of luck for his future endeavours, expecting fans of the band to do the same.
According to The Things' September 2023 report, Bob Bryar switched careers after leaving the rock band. The publication cited a fan's comment in the My Chemical Romance SubReddit wherein the fan mentioned that Bryar allegedly switched to real estate. The fan, @ScaredOfClocks, alleged in his comment that Bryar didn't part ways on good terms with the band, especially with lead vocalist Gerard Way and bass guitarist Mikey Way.
The fan stated:
"And that soon after it was said he became a real estate agent, but there was also big speculation in 2017 or so that he was going to make a return to music. And nothing ever happened with that."
Additionally, in a report by Consequence dated November 29, 2024, apart from indulging in real estate, Bob Bryar became involved in dog rescue charities and sanctuaries.
Bryar also auctioned the outfit he usually wore while he was a part of My Chemical Romance in October 2022, to raise cash for pets in South Carolina and Florida who were suffering due to Hurricane Ian.
According to TMZ, netizens claim that after leaving My Chemical Romance Bob Bryar admitted to having experienced suicidal thoughts multiple times.
My Chemical Romance is set to go on tour in 2025, however, Bryar was not a part of the same. Bryar remains the MCR's longest-tenured drummer in their history.
