Megan Thee Stallion was scheduled to perform across Europe as part of her 'Hot Girl Summer' tour. However, the singer has now canceled the Dublin, Cologne, and Glasgow shows and rescheduled others due to the Dallas Mavericks making it to the finals.

In her rescheduling and cancellation announcement on her official Instagram page on June 26, 2024, the singer elaborated on the developments, stating that the Dallas Mavericks reaching the NBA finals had led to the changes in the tour schedule:

"With the Dallas Mavericks making it to the NBA Finals and the HGS Dallas show moving, we’ve had to shift a few of our tour dates to accommodate the change but I am still soooooo excited to visit and perform for y’all"

The cancellation has led to fan disappointment, with some speculating that low ticket sales were the reasons behind the cancellations, while others lamented the cancellation and the lack of care for her fans:

"This is most amount of shows I’ve seen cancelled from a tour wow she really doesn’t care about her fans." stated one netizen.
"so if megan thee stallion’s uk shows have been cancelled, what hope do the rest of us in mainland europe have?" asked another netizen.
"Those comments about Megan coming to outsell Nicki, didn’t age well." stated one fan
"I find this so sh**y. Her team clearly seen that tickets weren’t selling so decided to book her in festivals to make it seem like oops we’ve double scheduled?!?!" added a commentor.
"What's with Germany?!?! I was really hyped for the Concert." stated one disappointed fan.
"Dublin and Cologne deserve an explanation!!" a fan stated.

The singer also elaborated on the reason behind the Glasgow show cancellation, stating that construction at the venue was the reason:

"To my Glasgow Hotties I promise I’ll be there soon, the venue informed us of a complex construction project that will close the venue forcing us to cancel the show. But we will find a date in the future !!! I love yall and can’t wait to see you."
