Why is Soulja Boy suing Tasha K and William the Baddest? $16 million lawsuit explored 

Soulja Boy has made his way into the headlines after the rapper slammed a lawsuit against Tasha K and William the Baddest for $16 million, as reported by TMZ. Allegedly, the lawsuit has been filed for defamation and s*xual harassment.

Previously, William was a guest on Tasha K’s podcast, Unwine with Tasha K, in the May 2024 episode. There, William stated that Soulja Boy was into “race play.”

As the episode went viral, the clip where William claims to Tasha that the two were allegedly in a relationship. His revealing graphic details about their alleged interaction also created a buzz on social media. In the viral clip, William told Tasha:

“I loved it, I loved it, I had some lube. It was everything. It was perfect. And he was very like into the ‘race play’ stuff. But, here’s the thing, I don’t know if this was really him or it was like drunk him. I’m nervous. I’m like, ‘is he going to hurt me?’"

During the podcast, he also recalled his first meeting with Soulja Boy and stated:

“I go up the stairs. He was like, ‘What’s up?’ and I’m like, ‘Hey, what’s up.’ He was like, ‘You get down?’ and I was like, ‘Oh, am I gay?’ Yeah, I’m gay. I get in there, and I go from professional, like a fan to you’re about to have s*x with him.”

In the lawsuit, Soulja Boy denied all the claims made by William the Baddest in Tasha K’s podcast. Furthermore, in the lawsuit, he also stated how he should be paid damages by William and Tasha for violation of the right to privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Soulja Boy left social media users shocked after he sued William the Baddest and Tasha K for allegedly defaming him, as William stated in Tasha’s podcast about the two being in a relationship.

As soon as the podcast aired in May 2024, several clips went viral, which also prompted a response from the Kiss Me Thru The Phone singer.

Addressing William’s statement, Soulja said on Instagram live:

“On my life, God strike me down send me to hell right now, on my soul, on everything I love, that dude is lying. I could die right now today. God strike me down. I’ll put it on my life, I’ll put it on my life and soul. I’ll put it on my heartbeat.”

Furthermore, denying that the two ever had any intimate moments together. Soulja further said:

"What the f**k is wrong with y’all? Anybody can go on O***F**s and see that. Anybody can go on OF and see that I got an OF page. What the f**k! That won’t prove nothing….wait wait wait, keep it gangsta. Are y’all serious right now? Or y’all trolling."

This was followed by William the Baddest sharing a picture of the duo together on his Instagram stories, attached to an OF link. While William was prompt to reply to Soulja back then, he has not yet responded to the lawsuit.

However, social media users seem to be divided as many have sided with the singer, while others bash him and trust William’s claims.
