On October 2, 2024, Piers Morgan invited rapper Lowkey on his show and asked if he would condemn P. Diddy since he was a rapper. While the questions Piers was asking Lowkey seemed like he wanted to catch him in a lie, Lowkey was quick to say yes to condemning Diddy. The latter has been indicted for charges of racketeering conspiracy, s*x trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Internet users were quick to comment on Piers Morgan's line of questioning and his failed attempt at calling Lowkey out.
They took to X to express their opinions on the same wherein an X user criticized Morgan's attempt and tweeted:
"That has to be the worst attempt at a gotcha question in the history of interviews 😄"
"Funniest question of the debate. What was he trying to implicate ?" an X user questioned
"You wore a tracksuit in the 90s, do you condemn saville?" another X user joked about Morgan's question to Lowkey.
"And it was a completely irrelevant comparison - Lowkey isn’t employed by P Diddy." an internet user commented
"@Lowkey0nline absolutely owned him 😂" another internet user mentioned
Moreover, internet users also called out Piers Morgan for asking a certain type of questions to Lowkey:
"Piers Morgan is a bottom feeding piece of scum. He may as well move to Israel and become Bibis press secretary." an X user mentioned
"Piers Morgan as yet to condemn his mate GhislaineMaxwell or Jeffery Epstein. The irony" another X user stated
Additionally, rapper Lowkey also challenged Morgan's line of questioning by presenting evidence that linked Morgan to Rupert Murdoch who is a key backer of Benjamin Netanyahu, Irseal's Prime Minister.
120 new accusers report abuse by Diddy
On October 1, 2024, Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee held a press conference wherein he mentioned that he would be representing 120 acusers alleging Diddy with accusations that go back to more than 20 years.
Buzbee claimed that he would expose the enablers who allowed the rapper to conduct such activities behind closed doors and that the matter would be pursued regardless of who the evidence implicates.
Talking about the nature of allegations, Buzbee shared that claims from victims include dissemination of video recordings, facilitated s*x with a controlled substance, s*xual abuse of minors, and violent s*xual assault or r*pe. The lawyer also referred to other people being involved in the same and stated:
“It’s a long list already, but because of the nature of this case, we are going to make sure, damn sure, we are right before we do that. These names will shock you.”
On the other hand, Diddy's lawyer Erica Wolf mentioned in a statement, as quoted by NBC News:
“As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he s*xually abused anyone, including minors."
Rapper Diddy was arrested on September 16, 2024, from a hotel in New York and was indicted by a grand jury on charges involving s*x trafficking. The rapper is currently at the Metropolitan Detention Center awaiting trial and has pleaded not guilty to all charges against him.
