In his recent appearance on Elliot Willson's The Bigger Picture podcast, DJ Hed expressed his gratitude toward Drake for his contribution to the hip-hop arena. DJ Hed mentioned on the podcast that he'd like to thank Drizzy for what he's done "to the ecosystem" adding that everyone appreciates the One Dance rapper. Additionally, DJ Hed stated that he's not throwing shade at the rapper and that:

"Thank you. Thank you, Drake, [for] what you've done to the ecosystem... Drake has done more for hip-hop than a lot of people give him credit for. 'Cause he's actively participated in the culture the whole time. There's credit to be owed for that, you know what I'm saying? He also used his platform to benefit others outside of himself."

DJ Hed was one of the artists who played at Kendrick Lamar's The Pop Out: Ken & Friends concert, hence given the feud between Drizzy and Kendrick, DJ Hed's statement in support of the Passionfruit rapper garnered reactions from the internet.

Supporting DJ Hed's statement on Drizzy, one of the fans tweeted:

"You can’t deny the facts"
"I don’t think people realize like what this man has done. Even recently this man has literally made 3 hits back to back to back that isn’t normal." an internet user mentioned
"Drake will do the song with a unknown, he’ll drop every year, tour, beefs, clubs, hits, relevance, sign guys, u name it everything that’s synomous with hip hop drake has embodied it for almost 2 decades now." another internet user stated
"I thought he wasn’t what the culture was feeling?" an X user questioned

On the other hand, some internet users also called out DJ Hed for siding with Kendrick Lamar and then praising Drizzy:

"Translation: We couldn’t kill Drakes career even with a 20v1 and pedo narratives. Not Like Us has faded, been exposed for botting and Kenny won’t boost my career post beef. Drake’s coming and I know Kenny won’t save me, so I’m just getting out the way early." an X user alleged
"He playing that card “never bite the hand that feeds you” an X user stated
"Dj Hed weird on social media. Cool to hear him give him some flowers" another X user appreciated DJ Hed's initiative

Drake surprised fans with three new songs via his alleged Instagram burner account

After giving fans tons of data including songs, behind-the-scenes videos, PPTs, and more via 100 Gigs for Your Headtop, Drake surprised his fans by releasing three new songs via his alleged Instagram burner account @plottttwistttttt on August 23, 2024.

The new tracks are titled No Face featuring Playboi Carti, SOD, and Circadian Rhythm wherein SOD appears to be the same track as Supersoak which was leaked to Twitch streamer Kai Cenant in July where fans heard it first.

However, Lil Yachty who featured on Supersoak had mentioned that there were sample clearance issues with the song and that artist Mr. Hotspot had religious objections over using his sample. This led to Lil Yachty being removed from the version of the song Drizzy dropped recently.

In other news, fans allege that there is a connection between Drizzy's latest drop Circadian Rhythm, and Kendrick Lamar's 6:16 in LA. It is believed that the name of Drizzy's recently released song is inspired by one of the lines in Kendrick Lamar's track wherein he states "But I live in circadian rhythms of a shooting star.”
