"You was jealous of me and that's sad" — Cardi B says Offset was in competition with her during their marriage

The recent spat between Cardi B and her ex-beau Offset took place on X Spaces on January 14, 2025. Talking to fans on X Spaces, Cardi indirectly addressed Offset and said her ex-husband believed she was competitive, making her realize that he was competing with Cardi during their marriage.

The rapper said:

"That just goes to tell me that you was jealous of me, and that's sad because you're supposed to be my f*cking partner"

Supporting her statement with an instance, Cardi claimed that she asked Offset how was she being competitive and Offset told her when she posted one of his albums, she said "I'm next", which must've come off as competitive to him.

Responding to Offset's perspective, Cardi B mentioned that the thought of competing with him while posting his album did not cross her mind adding that it just meant her ex-husband was competing with her. Claiming that she had the enemy in her bed all the time, the Drip rapper said:

"I wasn't only competing with these b*tches, I was competing with my ni**a and I didn't even f*cking know."

Cardi B reveals Offset hasn't signed divorce papers yet: Details explored

In addition to accusing Offset of competing with her through the course of their relationship, Cardi B revealed multiple details concerning her divorce from her ex-husband. Revealing that Offset hasn't signed divorce papers, Cardi said:

“You wanna talk about … you haven't accepted the divorce because you're not gonna agree on my terms because you just wanna see the kids. You wanna see the kids? You just called your daughter for the first time this year yesterday, your newborn,”

The rapper claimed that Offset went to New York and bought gifts for his other children but didn't bring his kids with Cardi anything for Christmas on purpose, to spite her. Cardi was seemingly referring to Offset's other children including his oldest child Jordan with Justine Watson, Kody who he shares with Oriel Jamie, and Kalea with Shya L'Amour. Then, Cardi indirectly addressed her ex-husband and said:

“A muthaf*cka thought he was gonna ruin my year and have me f*cked up like they had me f*cked up last year, but I’m so strong. I’m so f*cking strong and it doesn’t affect me anymore that even after you try to ruin me by being spiteful towards me and my kids, I still got my a*s up and went to f*cking work."

Additionally, Cardi B claimed that Offset and his mother robbed her but didn't get into the particulars of her claim, except that she warned her ex-husband to stop playing with her after the alleged incident took place.

The WAP rapper alleged that Offset wants her to look crazy by crashing out on social media while he remains unbothered, calling it his "plan". At one point during her X Spaces session, Cardi said that she's been quiet but wants Offset to sign the divorce papers.
