“I know I’m hard to love sometimes"— Justin Timberlake addresses fans in concert post DWI arrest incident

As per NBC News on June 18, 2024, according to the complaint written by Sag Harbor Village Police Officer Michael Arkinson, Justin Timberlake was driving his car in an "intoxicated condition".

“It’s been a tough week... I know sometimes I’m hard to love, but you keep on loving me and I’m loving you right back."

He continued:

"We’ve been together through ups and downs and lefts and rights … but you’re here and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now.”

The Mirrors singer also interacted with fans at his concert on June 22, mentioning that his tour keeps watching over him and that he along with most of the people at the concert arena "have grown up together". Acknowledging how fans come up to him and mention they grew up with him, Timberlake said:

"You have been such a big and beautiful part of my life and sometimes I can't find the words to show my gratitude that you guys just keep riding with me and riding with me."
