The 2025 4 Nations Face-Off is an international ice hockey tournament. It is scheduled for February 12–20, 2025, in Montreal’s Bell Centre and Boston’s TD Garden. It features teams from Canada, Finland, Sweden, and the United States, with NHL players only. The tournament will replace the NHL All-Star Game for 2025. Teams will compete in a round-robin format, followed by a final between the top two sides.

Russia and Czechia were not included, with Russia banned due to the war in Ukraine. NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman confirmed future NHL participation in the 2026 Winter Olympics and upcoming World Cups of Hockey.

4 Nation Face-Off Finland schedule

According to USA Hockey, Finland’s 4 Nation Face-Off schedule includes games against the USA on February 13 at 8:00 p.m. ET, Sweden on February 15 at 1:00 p.m. ET, both at Montreal’s Bell Centre, and Canada on February 17 at 1:00 p.m. ET at Boston’s TD Garden. The championship game will be held on February 20 at 8:00 p.m. ET at TD Garden.

4 Nation Face-Off Finland Captain

According to the official website of the NHL, Aleksander Barkov was named Team Finland's captain for the 4 Nations Face-Off. Barkov called it a "huge honor" and looks forward to leading his country. The tournament will take place from February 12 to 20, 2025, in Montreal and Boston.

Barkov is joined by assistant captains Sebastian Aho, Mikko Rantanen, and Mikael Granlund. This comes after Barkov became the first Finnish captain to win the Stanley Cup with the Florida Panthers last season. He leads the Panthers in all-time games, goals, assists, and points.
