4 nations face off USA coach & coaching staff

The 2025 4 Nations Face-Off, scheduled for February 12–20, 2025, is an international ice hockey tournament. It will replace the league's annual All-Star Game for 2025. The tournament features national teams from Canada, Finland, Sweden, and the United States, composed entirely of NHL players. Teams will play in a round-robin format, with the top two teams competing in a final game.

Each team has 23 players, including 20 skaters and three goaltenders, selected by the national hockey associations. Only players with an active 2024–25 NHL contract and on an NHL roster as of December 2, 2024, are eligible. Initial roster announcements were made on June 28, 2024, with final rosters revealed on December 4.

4 nations Face-Off USA Coach

According to the official website of the NHL, the coach for Team USA at the 4 Nations Face-Off is Mike Sullivan, an experienced American professional ice hockey coach.

Sullivan is the head coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL, as of February 2025. He has also coached the Boston Bruins and served as an assistant coach with several NHL teams, including the Tampa Bay Lightning, New York Rangers, and Vancouver Canucks.

Sullivan led the Penguins to back-to-back Stanley Cup wins in 2016 and 2017, becoming the only American-born coach to win it twice. Internationally, he represented Team USA as a player and coach.

4 Nations Face-Off USA Coaching Staff

According to the official website of the NHL, the United States coaching staff for the 4 Nations Face-Off is led by Mike Sullivan from the Pittsburgh Penguins as the head coach. Assisting him are John Hynes from the Minnesota Wild, John Tortorella from the Philadelphia Flyers, and David Quinn from the Pittsburgh Penguins. Mike Buckley, the goaltending coach for the Los Angeles Kings, oversees the goaltenders. The video coaches are Madison Nikkel from the Pittsburgh Penguins and Mike King from the Ottawa Senators, who assist with game analysis and strategy.
