The Paris Olympics are just hours away, with the soccer matches kicking off on July 24th. Two days later, on July 26th, the Games will commence with a historic opening ceremony

The opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics will, for the first time ever, take place outside the stadium, and the team parades will cross the Seine River.

The USA has sent the largest contingent of 592 athletes to the Paris Olympics, and basketball legend LeBron James will be the nation's flag bearer at the quadrennial event. The opening ceremony will be televised live on Peacock and NBC from July 26 at 12 p.m.

Where will the team Parade take place and how long will the Paris Olympics ceremony event last?

The Paris Olympics' opening ceremony is expected to last around three hours, starting from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. However, the duration is subject to slight variations. The parade ceremony will take place along the Seine River and will pass through some of the city's iconic landmarks, such as Notre-Dame, the Louvre, and the Grand Palais.

Over 10,500 athletes from 206 nations are expected to take part in the parade. The teams will travel through the River on boats, and given the number of athletes on Team USA, several boats will be arranged for them. It is also anticipated that different sports teams will receive different boats.

What will Team USA wear during the opening ceremony?

Team USA partnered with Ralph Lauren for the ninth time to design and manufacture its uniforms for the Olympic Games. The American athletes will be seen wearing a classic navy wool blazer with red and white accents for the opening ceremony. A striped Oxford shirt and a navy knit tie, along with denim jeans and suede shoes, will complete the look.

What are the entertaining programs planned for the Paris Olympics opening ceremony?

French actor Thomas Jolly, the artistic director for the Paris Olympics opening ceremony, has promised a blockbuster event. While details about the performing celebrities remain under wraps, big names such as Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga, and Celine Dion have been rumored to be part of the show.

Jolly has expressed his intention to showcase France's diverse culture during the Paris Olympics opening ceremony. Over 3000 artists are expected to be part of the opening ceremony, and each of the bridges through which the parade passes will have scores of dancers on it to entertain the crowd.
