Aaron Brooks is a folkstyle and freestyle wrestler, also known by his birth name Aaron Marquel Brooks. He is the son of John Brooks and Ranelle Boyd. He competes in the 86-kilogram weight category and qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics for the freestyle wrestling event. Aaron came out as a champion in the U23 World Championships in 2023, the Cadet World Championships in 2017, and a silver medalist in the Junior World Championships the following year. He has 13 medals in all major competitions including collegiate wrestling where bagged 11 gold and two silver medals.

The Big Ten Freshman of the Year 2020spent 2019-2020 as a Freshman, 2020-2021 as a Sophomore, 2021-2022 as a Junior, and made it to the senior level in the 2022-2023 season. He has a record of 22-0 (senior), 46-0 (junior), 43-1 (sophomore), and 45-1 (freshman).
