Amit Elor is a professional freestyle wrestler and a Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner. She was born in Walnut Creek, California, and is an American by nationality. Elor was born on January 1, 2004, and is the youngest-ever World Champion in the history of American wrestling. She currently competes in the 72 kg weight class.

Her parents are of Russian origin and were living in Israel before moving to the USA in 1980. Elor was a huge sports enthusiast since a very young age, starting wrestling at the age of ten. She was also a Judoka and represented her country's female INTL Intermediate division at the age of nine.

She has become a world champion at the senior, junior, and cadet level, and won consecutive gold medals in the 2022 and 2023 World Championships. Elor is currently set to represent her country in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Amit Elor is attending classes at Diablo Valley College. The Diablo Valley College is a public community college based out of Contra Costa County, California, the county where Elor’s hometown Walnut Creek is situated. Elor is currently pursuing online classes from the Pleasant Hill-based college. Given her wrestling commitments, Elor is yet to decide whether she will complete her graduation online or switch to the traditional route. She is keen on pursuing studies in statistics, applied math, and psychology.

Amit Elor attended College Park High School, a public high school in Pleasant Hill, Contra Costa County in California. She became the States Champion in 2019 while being a freshman in the school.
