Born on December 25, 1993, Annie stands at an impressive height of 6 feet 3 inches. Annie started playing volleyball at Penn High School and since then, she has achieved great success in the sport. She won a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 with the United States Team, a silver medal at the 2019 World Cup in Japan, and a bronze medal at the 2017 World Grand Champions Cup in Japan.

Beyond the Olympics, Annie secured a gold medal at the International women's volleyball tournament with her team three times in 2018, 2019, and 2021. Additionally, at the 2019 NORCECA Championship Annie achieved a silver medal and a gold medal at the 2017 Pan-American Cup. In her personal life, Annie is happily married to her long-time boyfriend Tanner Schumacher.

Before Purdue University, Tanner attended Wabash Valley Community College from 2014-2015, studying business management.
