
Ben Hallock is a professional water polo player who has been honored with the role of captain for the United States team at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. He previously represented his country at both the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games and will be making his third Olympic appearance in 2024.
Hallock was a key member of the United States Men's National water polo team during the 2016 Summer Olympics and served as captain in the 2020 Summer Olympics. In addition to his international career, he competes with Pro Recco in Italy, where he has triumphed three times in the LEN Champions League.
During his collegiate career, Hallock played water polo for Stanford University’s Cardinal team. He was redshirted in the 2016 season. He earned First Team All-American honors in both 2017 and 2018 and was named MPSF Newcomer of the Year in 2017. Hallock continued to excel by achieving First Team All-MPSF status those same years, being recognized as National Player of the Year and MPSF Player of the Year in 2018. Further cementing his legacy, he won back-to-back Cutino Awards (in both 2018 and again after leading Stanford to an NCAA Championship victory).
