Brandon McNulty is an American cyclist who grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and rides for the UCI World Team UAE Team Emirates. He was born on April 2, 1998, in the US, and started cycling at a very young age. The 26-year-old competed in his first mountain bike race at the age of 8 and moving forward from there, he has now made a name for himself in the cycling world. He was one of the most promising cyclists even when he used to race in the 11-12 junior categories. After transitioning to road racing, he nabbed multiple wins in road racing.

McNulty’s consecutive wins captivated the attention of the manager of LUX cycling, Roy Knickman, who after recognizing his talent referred him to coach Barney King. He attained multiple remarkable achievements in 2015, such as standing atop the podium in the Valley of the Sun Stage Race TT and winning the Junior National time trial Championships. Following this, the Phoenix native has not stopped chasing stellar wins and performances. Be it Grand Tours, or Stage races or One-day races and Classics, he has excelled in each one of them.

Brandon McNulty, the son of R.J McNulty has also proved his prospect as a formidable cyclist in the World Championships. He has clinched four medals in the World Championships. In the 2016 Doha, he became the world champion of the Junior Time Trial. In 2015 Bergen, he came second in the Junior time trial and in 2017, he claimed silver in the Under-23 time trial. In 2009 Yorkshire, he won one bronze medal in the Under-23 time trials. McNulty’s first grand tour participation was in the Giro d’Italia, where he finished 15th and now, the cyclist will be seen competing in the second Olympic Games of his career at the 2024 Paris Olympics, which is scheduled to be held from July 26 - August 11.
