Casey Kaufhold is a Professional American Archer. She was born on March 6, 2004, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA. Her parents are Rob and Carole Kaufhold. The Kaufhold couple owns Lancaster Archery Supply, which is a leading archery store. His father was a former archer himself, making archery run in Casey's veins. At a very young age, under the guidance of her parents, Casey began practicing shooting and then archery. She trained alongside her brother Connor.

In 2023, Kaufhold became the first-ever woman from the USA to attain the World Number One Ranking in the Women’s Recurve category. She has had a very decorated international career so far, having won a silver medal at the World Archery Championships, six medals at the Archery World Cup including three gold, Six medals at the Pan American Games including four gold, and five medals at the Pan American Championships with two gold medals.

Casey Kaufhold attended the Conestoga Valley High School, a school located in her hometown Lancaster, Pennsylvania. During her time in high school, Kaufhold had started making waves in the International Archery circuit. In 2019, she was a member of the USA Women’s Recurve team at the World Archery Championships.

Later that year, she also won a silver medal in the World Archery Youth Championships. During her high school, Kaufhold competed in the US Olympic trials and went on to represent her country at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She competed in the Women’s Individual, Women’s Team, and Mixed Team categories, and finished 17th, 8th, and 9th respectively.

Casey Kaufhold College Career

Casey Kaufhold is currently attending the Texas A&M University in the College of Architecture. She began her college in 2022 and is expected to graduate as a member of the Class of 2026. However, she has continued to make huge advancements in her national and international career while being a student at Texas University. Before Kaufhold, former Archer Olympians Jennifer Nichols, Miranda Leek, and silver medalist Vic Wunderle had attended Texas A&M University.

In 2021, she won a silver medal at the World Archery Championships and was later awarded the Athlete of the Year award by World Archery Americas in the category of Women’s Recurve category. In 2022, Kaufhold was the winner of Women’s Recurve at the Vegas Shoot. While she failed to register a medal at the 2023 World Championships, Kaufhold bounced back with two gold medals at the 2024 Pan American Archery Championships.
