Charlotte Buck is notable for being a former Olympian, having participated in the event in 2021 and ranking fourth. Hailing from Nyack, New York, United States, she initially played tennis at Nyack High School and was also the team captain. She started rowing with the Rockland Masters team in 2014 and also rowed for the Columbia Lions women’s team at Columbia University from 2014 to 2018. During her college rowing career, Buck served as the co-captain of her team for her junior 2017 and senior 2018 years. She also received the MVP Award in 2017 and 2018.

Charlotte Buck debuted on the international stage with the World Championships in 2022. She again participated in the same in 2023 and earned her first silver medal. She is all geared up for her second Olympics performance with the USA women’s rowing team in 2024. Other than her rowing career, Charlotte Buck also served as an assistant coach for the Columbia Lions women’s team from August 2021 to January 2022. She presently works as a part-time analyst in Enterprise Account Management at Broadridge. Additionally, she is also a part-time member of the USRowing DEI Committee.
