Fred Kerley is an American professional sprinter. He specializes in 100m, 200, and 400m. Born on May 7, 1995, standing at 6 feet 3 inches in height. Kerley became professional in 2017 and trains under the coach Quincy Watts. Fred won a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the 100m dash. In 2016, Fred tried for the Olympics but did not qualify. As of 2024, he is all set to appear in his second Olympic Games in Paris.
Kerley has achieved many medals at the World Championships. He won gold medals in 2019, 2022, and 2023. He competed for Texas A&M before becoming a pro. Fred saw great success in his college career. He won a gold medal at the NACAC U23 Championships in 4×100 m relay. His personal best records are 43.64 seconds in 400m, 19.76 seconds in 200m and 9.76 seconds in 100m.
