Gabby Thomas’ Career

Growing up, Gabby Thomas ran track and put her mind to it after getting inspired by the former athlete Allyson Felix’s 200m race. She turned professional after signing a professional contract with New Balance. During her time at Harvard, she won 22 conference titles in six different events and made Ivy League records in the 100m, 200m, and indoor 60m races.

In her junior season, Thomas became the NCAA Indoor Champion in the 200m event, where she clocked a time of 22.38s. The 27-year-old is also a World Champion of the 4x100m relay (2023 Budapest), and she also won a silver in the 200m race in the same Championship. She also clinched gold in the 200m at the 2023 USATF Championships. She is now geared up to make her second Olympic appearance in Paris, which is scheduled to be held from July 26- August 11.
