Grant Koontz, born on January 28, 1994, is an American road and track cyclist. He hails from Houston Texas. He competed internationally, at the 2022 UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) World Championships and finished sixth. In the 2023 Pan-American Games in Santiago, Chile, Grant won two bronze medals and four gold medals. He also won a bronze medal at the 2024 UCI Track Nations Cup and got five gold medals at the USA Cycling Track National Championships.

Throughout his career, Grant has ridden for several renowned cycling teams, including Texas A&M University from 2012 to 2016, DNA Racing in 2019, Rodeo Labs Pro Gravel from 2020 to 2021, Star Track UCI from 2021 to the present, and the USA National Track Team from 2022 onwards.

Daphne Karagianis is Grant Koontz’s wife. She is an American racing cyclist, she currently rides for American UCI Continental team DNA Pro Cycling. Daphne Karagianis worked as a Lead Designer at Columbia College Chicago from 2007 to 2008 and as an Art Director for Digital from June 2008 to February 2011. From February 2011 to May 2011, she served as a Designer at the Democratic National Committee. She then became a Senior Designer at Obama for America from May 2011 to November 2012.

Daphne was the Senior Director at VSA Partners Inc. from January 2014 to January 2015 and the Senior Art Director at Leo Burnett from February 2016 to February 2017. She worked as a User Experience Designer at Magic+Might from November 2017 to February 2018.

From July 2020 to August 2021, Daphne held the role of Senior Visual Designer at Pearson.
