The Holloway Pro Classic 2024 is finally here, and it promises to dish up some exciting races for fans. The event is slated to take place in the University of Florida on July 19, with a compact event list that makes for the perfect viewing experience.

With the Paris Olympics fast approaching, many incoming Olympians will be taking to the track on Friday as an attempt to fine-tune the last aspects of their performance before heading out to compete on the sport's biggest stage. With that, here's a look at the top entries for the Holloway Pro Classic 2024.

Fans will get to see McKenzie Long take to the track twice at the Holloway Pro Classic, as the American is slated to run both the 100m and 200m distances on Friday. The 24-year-old has had a stellar 2024 so far, storming to the bronze in the 200m at the U.S Olympic Trials that allowed her to book her ticket to Paris.

Outside of the Trials, her season so far has seen her become a three-time NCAA champion as she clinched golds in the 100m, 200m, as well as 4x10pm relay events.

#5. Trayvon Bromell

Fans will get to Trayvon Bromell in action for the 100m sprint at the Holloway Pro Classic. The 29-year-old was a World Championships bronze medalist in the distance in both 2015 and 2022, and made the American team for the Rio and Tokyo Games.

However, Bromell missed out on a chance to head to Paris after he suffered with an adductor injury that forced him to pull out of the U.S Olympic Trials. This appearance in Florida will mark the American’s first competitive outing since May.

#4. Anna Hall

Incoming Olympian Anna Hall will be in action at the Holloway Pro Classic, but it is unconfirmed in which event. The American has had a rollercoaster season so far this year, starting with a knee surgery in January that put her Olympic future in question.

However, Hall scripted the perfect comeback at the U.S Olympic Trials, booking her ticket to Paris for the heptathlon in an enthralling performance.

#3. Quincy Wilson

16-year-old Quincy Wilson is one of Team USA’s youngest Olympic qualifiers, and he will prove exactly why when he takes to the track for the 400m sprint at the Holloway Pro Classic. The youngster stole the spotlight in March of 2024 when he stormed to a 45.76 finish at New Balance Nationals Indoor, setting a U18 world record in the event.

Next, running at the semifinals of the U.S Olympic Trials, Wilson clocked a 44.59 in the outdoor 400m, rewriting the U18 world record for that event as well.

#2. Erriyon Knighton

Erriyon Knighton will grace the track of Gainesville in the 100m sprint. The youngster clinched a spot on the U.S 200m Olympic team at the Trials earlier this year, and will likely be looking to get warmed up ahead of the Paris Games.

Knighton will likely face a small field and fans will be curious what time he clocks on July 19. He comes into the meet as a two-time World Championships bronze-medalist in the 200m and remains a heavy favorite to storm onto the top step of the podium.

#1. Athing Mu

Athing Mu will be returning to the track for the first time after her heartbreak at the U.S Olympic Trials with an appearance at the Holloway Prr Classic. The 22-year-old’s dreams of making it her second consecutive Games came to a grinding halt at the Hayward Field in June when she crashed into a fellow competitor only 200m into the race, consequently finishing last.

However, the Olympic and World Champion in the 800m looks ready to leave the past behind her as she is entered into her first competitive 800m outing since the Trials.
