Sha'Carri Richardson recently joined hands with tennis ace Naomi Osaka and basketball sensation Angel Reese for a campaign promoting Beats by Dre Solo 4 headphones. The world champion has claimed that Osaka and Reese are more than just an inspiration for her but to many other women. All three are superstars of their respective sports.
Except for the brief period in 2021 when she received a doping ban, Richardson has been a dominant force in women's track and field. A collegiate sensation who became an international success, the 24-year-old heads to the Paris Olympics 2024 the as favorite to win a couple of gold medals.
Owing to her immense popularity, Richardson has bagged multiple sponsorship deals over the last few years, the biggest being a reported $20 million contract with Nike. The 24-year-old’s recent deal came with Beats by Dre, where she headlined the brand's campaign alongside Angle Reese and Naomi Osaka.
Speaking with Wonderland Magazine in an interview, Sha'Carri Richardson opened up about her experience of working with Osaka and Reese. Claiming that it meant a lot to her to be working with them, the world champion said that she related with the two women, both of whom are doing things their own way.
“It’s always cool to connect with amazing women. We shot the campaigns separately but it means a lot to be connected to young female athletes who are dominating in their respective sports. They are not just an inspiration to me but they’re an inspiration to young women around the world. They are their authentic selves and are doing things their own way. I can definitely relate to this”, she expressed.
Osaka is a former WTA No.1, and has won four Grand Slam titles till now. Angel Reese, on the other side, is a rising star in the WNBA. The former LSU basketball star is credited as one of the people alongside Caitlin Clark behind the rise in WNBA viewership.

In yet another brand collaboration, Sha'Carri Richardson teamed up with Cardi B for an NBC promotional for Paris Olympics 2024. The world champion also got the opportunity to sit with Cardi B, and talk about their respective careers.
Richardson expressed admiration for the American rapper, claiming that she is one of her favorite artists.
“Meeting Cardi B in person and just having a real conversation with her was amazing. She is definitely on my list of favourite artists and her music is on rotation on my playlists. She is such a genuine person who has remained true to herself. She gave me encouraging words and shared what she does to keep herself motivated. She is just a down-to-earth person”, she told Wonderland Magazine.
Sha'Carri Richardson also invited Cardi B to watch the Paris Olympics 2024. The Grammy Award winner accepted the invitation, stating that she would only come for the world champion.
