She stepped on a badminton court at the age of eight for the first time after an outing with her father to a local community badminton court. This sparked her interest in the sport, and she began training at a local badminton club on a weekly basis.

She started competing in the junior division when she was just eight years old. Her debut in the adult arena was marked at the 2016 Badminton World Federation Uber Cup. She is currently ranked 149th in Women’s Singles and 29th in Mixed Doubles (XD) in the world.
