Kelsey Marie Robinson Cook is a famous American indoor volleyball player known for her participation in the United States women’s national volleyball team starting in 2014. Born in Bartlett, Illinois, Robinson went to St. Francis High School before playing volleyball collegiately for the University of Tennessee and the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. In 2014, she was a finalist in the Honda Sports Award in volleyball while still studying at Nebraska.

Some of the achievements made during her international career include Gold medals at the 2014 World Championship, the Rimini Volleyball Nations League, the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, and a Bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Owing to her flexibility she switched from the outside hitter role to libero in 2018 and then changed back to the outside hitter in 2019. Her professional career has involved playing for teams in China, Puerto Rico, Italy, and Turkey.

Her achievement can be summed up by the 2016/2017 CEV Champions League, where she played for the Imoco Volley Conegliano emerged as the second winner and she also received the Best Outside Spiker. In 2021, Robinson was selected as part of an 18-player squad for the FIVB Volleyball Nations League before being included in the final 12-player Olympic team for the Tokyo Olympics where the USA won its first-ever Olympic title in the women’s volleyball category.

In her personal life, Robinson married her volleyball partner Brian Cook in the year 2021. She is also famous for her YouTube channel where she gives a glimpse into her life as a player in another country and her fashion line ‘By The Sun’.
