Kennedy Blades is an American wrestler. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 4, 2003, Blades is just twenty years old and is all set to be a part of Team USA in the 2024 Paris Olympics. She defeated six-time world champion Adeline Gray in the Olympic Trials to punch her ticket into the event.

Despite her young age, Blades boasts an impressive international experience, winning the 2021 Junior World Championship. She had also attempted to get a shot at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics but had fallen short back then. Her great wrestling career has been shaping ever since her younger days when Blades attended the Wyoming Seminary High School in Kingston, Pennsylvania.

There, she became the Prep School National Champion for the school in 2019 and was the Super 32 Champion in two years. She has since attended Arizona State University. She was born to Saul Jr. and Cindy Pulido and has two siblings, a brother named Saul Pulido III and a sister Korina. Blades is also a pet-lover and has an American Bulldog Rocky and a tortoise Quick Sliver.

Kennedy Blades competes in the 76 Kg Weight Class in wrestling. While her exact weight is, unfortunately, not known, it lies somewhere around that. At 168 lbs, the 76 Kg category is the final category in women's wrestling. During her younger days, Blades competed in the 68 Kg weight category.

Kennedy Blades stands at an impressive 5 foot 11 inches or 180 cm. She uses her height very well during her matches and makes for a tough opponent in any game. Thanks to her height, technique, and determination, she became the US Olympic Team Trials Champion in 2024. Besides, she has won two medals in in U20 World Championships including a gold medal. Blades has further won a Silver Medal in the U23 World Championships and has been a member of the Age-Group U.S. World Team four times.
