Lily Ann Zhang is an American professional table tennis player. Born on June 16, 1996, in Redwood City, California to Chinese parents, Zhang grew up playing table tennis from a young age as her mother played for her province's team in China.

She was ranked as high as #2 in the world cadet rankings and #5 in the junior rankings. Zhang has represented the United States at multiple Olympic Games, including 2012 London and 2016 Rio. She is a six-time U.S. National Champion in women's singles, winning titles in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2022.

Growing up, Zhang started playing table tennis at the age of 7 when her friend took her to the Palo Alto Table Tennis Club. Her mother had played for her province's team in Xi'an, China, and Zhang enjoyed the sport with her parents from a young age.

As mentioned in the Viking Magazine, at Paly, Zhang balanced her academic studies with her table tennis training and competitions. By the time she was 16 in 2012, she had already represented the United States at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, becoming the youngest table tennis player at those Games.
