The participation of transgender athletes at Paris Olympics 2024 is a complex issue. None of the sports at the moment allows direct participation of transgender women, and have put forth several conditions which, if met, make transgender athletes eligible to compete. However, some sports such as swimming and rugby have imposed a complete ban on the participation of transgender athletes.

With some sports having more open policies, several transgender athletes are expected to compete at Paris Olympics 2024. USA's Nikki Hiltz, who identifies as non-binary and is a biological female, is one of the transgender athletes competing in women's sports at the Paris Olympics.

Transgender athletes can participate in men's sports without any restrictions, but problems arise when transgender women, who are biologically male, want to participate in women's events.
