Three-time Olympian Micah Christenson is a volleyball player, born on May 8, 1993. He earned a bronze medal at the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympics and finished 10th at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. His World Championships experience includes participation in 2014, 2018, and 2022, with a bronze medal won in 2018. Most recently, at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Team USA's volleyball men's team defeated Brazil in the quarterfinals with a score of 3-1 and advanced to the semifinals, which will take place on August 7. Christenson led the USA against Brazil with 42 assists, six digs, three kills, and one ace.

The American plays in the setter position and he went to the University of Southern California, playing for the USC Trojans from 2012 to 2015, followed by Volley Lube from 2015 to 2018, Modena Volley from 2018 to 2021, and, as of August 2024, playing for Zenit Kazan. He has achieved significant honors in both club and individual competitions throughout his volleyball career. At the club level, he won the CEV Champions League in the 2017–18 season and the FIVB Club World Championship in 2017.

His father, Robert, played basketball at the University of Hawaii-Hilo, and his mother, Charlene, won three national volleyball championships and was a two-time All-American at Hilo.

Micah married Brooke Fournier, a former beach volleyball player for USC, in Hawaii shortly after the Rio Games. The couple has two sons, Ezekiel, born in 2018, and Quinn, born in 2020, and a daughter, Finley. He enjoys hobbies such as bodysurfing, basketball, and spending time with his family.
