Taylor Shiffrin is two years more seasoned than her sister and also made his debut in the skiing arena. However, his career choices took him to a vastly different area, he continues to ski from time to time. But, that goes without saying, Taylor’s career surely had a bright path ahead. Before he was a student at the University of Denver, he won the Colorado Surefoot Cup. The champion did not stop there. His track record during his university was prodigious. In 2013, he was placed 12th and 16th in two slalom races at the New Mexico Invitational. In the same year, he won 14th place in slalom at Denver International and 19th in the giant slalom at the RMISA Qualifier.


Taylor joined an elite Denver ski team which went on to win the 22nd NCAA Championship in 2014. He also competed in 12 races for the University of Denver in the same year. Taylor Shiffrin also earned the season’s best fifth-place finish in slalom at the RMISA Championships in Beaver Creek, Colo. He also notched two top-10 finishes in the year.


In the following year, Shiffrin finished in the 3rd position in both slalom and giant slalom at the Utah Invitational. He was placed 3rd again in slalom at the Seawolf Invitational. At the Colorado Invitational in the same year, he earned 5th place in giant slalom.


2016 was Taylor Shiffrin’s prime. He has bagged and participated in numerous competitions. He was one of the 12 skiers who represented the University of Denver at the NCAA Championships in Steamboat Springs in 2016. He also finished 14th in men’s slalom and 17th overall in the men’s giant slalom category. Shiffrin also aided Denver to win the 23rd National Championship.

Moreover, he was placed ninth in slalom and 10th in giant slalom in the Utah Invitational. In the same year, he grabbed 13th place in slalom and 6th in giant slalom at the Montana State Invitational.


Taylor Shiffrin diligently grabbed the fifth place in giant slalom at the RMSA Qualifier. In addition, he won third and sixth place in both slalom and giant slalom categories respectively at the CU Invitational. He finished 14th and 5th places at the New Mexico Invitational in the two men’s slalom. He was placed 14th overall in the giant slalom and second in the slalom category at the RMISA Championships in 2016.
