Molly Bruggeman is a professional American rower. She is a three-time CRCA Division I Pocock All-American. Her rowing journey began at Chaminade-Julienne Catholic High School. She was a three-year letter winner under coach Mike Miles. She led her team to finish at the Youth Nationals as team captain and MVP for three consecutive years. She also represented the CanAmMex Team in 2009 and was an active member of the National Honor Society and Student Council. She attended the University of Notre Dame. She raced with the varsity eight boats securing several top finishes which include a first-place victory against Buffalo and a second-place finish at the BIG EAST Championships as a freshman. She becomes the first BIG EAST rower to be named a CRCA First Team Pocock All-American since 2008. She also earned the BIG EAST Crew of the Week honors and led her team to a grand final victory at the BIG EAST Championship in her sophomore year. Bruggeman had victories at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational and the Dale England Cup and performed well at the NCAA Championships during her junior year. In her senior year, she became the second Notre Dame rower to achieve All-America status in three seasons and led her team to a placement at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge and the ACC Championship.

On the international stage, Bruggeman won gold in the women's coxless four at the 2018 World Rowing Championships and secured silver in the same event at the 2016 championships. She also won gold medals at the 2015 Pan American Games and the 2014 World Rowing Under 23 Championships. As a coach, Bruggeman joined the Gopher rowing staff in 2021-22 and has been instrumental in developing future rowing talents. Her experience includes serving as a Level 2 Coaching Course Facilitator for USRowing and coaching at the Mercer Rowing Club.
