Morgan Pearson, born on September 22, 1993, in New Vernon, New Jersey, is an American triathlete. He excelled in swimming and running during his high school years at Delbarton and won the 3,000-meter event at the Penn Relays and the 3,200 meters at the 2010 NJSIAA Meet of Champions. After a brief stint at Duke University, Pearson transferred to the University of Colorado, where he became a seven-time All-American in track and cross country.
Following his college career, Pearson turned to triathlons, quickly rising through the ranks. In 2017, he won the USA Triathlon's Age-Group Sprint National Championships. His breakthrough came in 2021 when he won a bronze medal at the World Triathlon Championship Series in Yokohama, Japan, securing his spot for the Tokyo Olympics.
At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics (held in 2021), Pearson faced challenges in the individual event but rebounded to help the U.S. team win silver in the Mixed Relay Triathlon. As of 2024, Pearson continues to train in Broomfield, Colorado.
