Quincy Wilson spoke about missing out on making his Olympic debut in a post-race interview with Citius Magazine. Despite putting in an outstanding effort, he finished sixth thereby missing out on the qualification for the U.S. Olympic team.

""That’s the main point, I can’t go back and be disappointed because, at the end of the day, I’m 16 running grown man times. They (my family) told me to just come out here and run because God has the final say. The last thing I did with my family and coach was to pray and we were thankful," he said.
"I think that my support system is the reason why I was able to get here because I have a strong support system and it’s just amazing," he added.

Wilson's performance at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials stands as a testament to his hard work and relentless effort which helped him succeed at such a young age.
