Quincy Wilson will compete in the 600m at the 17th Millrose Games on February 8, 2025. She became the youngest track and field athlete to win an Olympic gold medal at the 2024 Paris Games.

Wilson, the Bullis School standout track alum, posted an exceptional 2024 season, collecting several accolades and titles. Starting with the 2024 VA Showcase to the Penn Relays, the 17-year-old made waves in indoor and outdoor racing events. Finishing sixth in the 400m final at the US Olympic trials, Wilson secured a spot in the men's 4x400m relay at the Paris Olympics.

Having contributed to the heats, he won gold with the team despite not running in the finals. In his first race after Paris, the 600m at the US Marine Corps Classic, Quincy Wilson showcased his skills by running the second-highest in the US High School history in 1:17.19.

According to Flo Track's Instagram post, Wilson will next compete in the 600m at the Millrose Games on February 8. Joining him would be Brandon Miller, who will look to break the 600m world record in the 17th edition of the Games. The official page also announced an additional $25,000 for athletes who would break world records.

Quincy Wilson competed at the 2024 Millrose Games, running a 600m time of 1:17.36, the second-fastest all-time high school boys' mark. His 400m time at the 2024 New Balance Nationals Indoors would have placed him fourth at the World Indoor Athletics Championships last year.

Quincy Wilson, the youngest American track and field athlete to compete at the Olympics in Paris, balances academics and track competitions. In a recent interview with CITIUS Mag, he shared how his days after the Paris Olympics stint revolved around reading books and completing school work.

"Right after that, I had to come home, do my summer reading and read two books. One of them was like 600 pages and the other one was like 200 or 300 pages. So I read those books and had to [answer] some questions. My first trimester went really good.”
"I was on the highest honor roll you can get and got an ‘A’ average throughout the whole semester. I was really just maintaining where I left off before I went to the Olympics and just tried to focus on school work and maintaining track. School always comes first, so that's what I've really been focusing on,” he added.

He set an Under-18 world best for the indoor 400m in March 2024 and is also the indoor and outdoor American high school record holder in the same.
