Jordan Chiles threw the first pitch ahead of the New York Mets vs. Cincinnati Reds in MLB, after her bronze medal heartbreak at the Paris Olympics. She stepped down in NY for the New York Fashion Week and the high-contention game between the Reds and Mets in Citi Field Stadium.
Jordan Chiles lost her bronze medal after the Court of Arbitration of Sports handed it to the original floor bronze finisher at the Paris Olympics, Ana Barbosu of Romania. The decision didn't sit well with Chiles and her well-wishers, including her gymnastic compatriot Simone Biles, who assured that the fight would continue unless Chiles got justice.
After taking a brief break from social media to keep her mental health in check, the 23-year-old has seemingly moved on from the bronze medal saga and landed in New York. She graced Citi Field Stadium, NYC, to throw the first pitch before the Mets vs Reds game.
In an MLB's X post, Chiles threw the pitch in a customized Mets jersey as fans hailed and cheered her as the Olympian left the field joyously.
Ahead of her MLB stint, Chiles celebrated her new ambassadorship with skincare brand Vaseline for its latest Pro VitaB3 Serum Burst lotion launch. She stepped into the Vaseline Racquet Club, dressed in white, and smiled in front of a big tube of Vaseline placed on the field for advertisement.
"So excited to be the new brand ambassador for @vaselinebrand and celebrate the launch of their new Pro VitaB3 Body Lotions at Vaseline Racquet Club," she wrote in her Instagram story.
Chiles also attended the 2024 US Open at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.
