The athletes to watch out for at Paris Olympics 400m final

Marileidy Paulino, the current world number one, is the only athlete from the Tokyo Olympics top three who will be competing for a podium finish at the Paris Olympics. The reigning champion, Shaunae Miller-Uibo, did not qualify for the finals after finishing last in the repechage round on Tuesday, August 6, and the silver medalist Alyson Felix has retired from the sport.
The 2019 world champion Salwa Eid Naser is one of the leading contenders for a medal, and she will be joined by Alexis Holmes, who is representing the USA's Olympic dreams after Felix said goodbye to the sport. Amber Anning, the 4x400m mixed relay bronze medalist, will also be one of the athletes to keep an eye on.
