The United States will be fielding a strong team of 54 track and field athletes at the 2024 Paris Paralympics, which will take place from August 28 to September 8, 2024. The team comprises a mix of multiple Paralympic medalists from previous editions and promising youngsters who have already made an impact on the global stage and are eager to win their first Paralympic medal.

Tatyana McFadden, Daniel Romanchuk, Hunter Woodhall, Blake Leeper, Susannah Scaroni, David Blair, Michael Brannigan, Jeremy Campbell, Kym Crosby, Nick Mayhugh, Breanna Clark, Elizabeth Corso, Sam Grewe, Noah Malone, Brittni Mason, and Cassie Mitchell are a few prominent names who have collected medals through their participation in past editions of the Paralympics and will hope to add more medals this edition.

Among all the names, Tatyana McFadden is the most successful USA athlete, having bagged eight gold, eight silver, and four bronze medals. Notably, the 35-year-old athlete made her Paralympic debut in 2004 at the Athens Paralympics.

Meanwhile, Hunter Woodhall, who recently made headlines for cheering his wife, Tara Davis-Woodhall, at the Paris Olympics, will compete in his third Paralympic Games. He will aim to secure his first gold medal at the Paris Paralympics.

Exciting prospects who will be eyeing their first Paralympic medals at the Paris event include Ezra Frech, Jaydin Blackwell, Noelle Malkamaki, Samantha Heyison, Derek Loccident, and Taylor Swanson, among others.

Notably, the United States is the most dominant nation in the history of the Summer Games, with a whopping 2,283 medals, including 808 gold, 736 silver, and 739 bronze medals. At the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, the USA finished third in the overall medal table, collecting 37 gold, 36 silver, and 31 bronze medals.
