The Alpine Skiing World Cup 2024/25 is all set to take center stage from Oct. 26 in Austria. Established in 1966, the 2024-25 event will be the 59th edition for both the men's and women's events.
The event will feature skiers from various parts of the world who will compete to reign supreme. Switzerland's Marco Odermatt and Lara Gut-Behrami will start the event as the men's and women's overall defending champions.

All the events from the 2024/25 Alpine Skiing World Cup can be enjoyed by American fans on Peacock, Ski and Snowboard Live, and Outside Watch. ORF, RAI, JOJ, and Viaplay will live stream the events in Austria, Italy, Slovakia, and Norway (also Finland) respectively. Fans in the UK and Ireland can tune in to the BBC for the live coverage.
Alpine Skiing World Cup 2024/25: Top Americans in the event
Mikaela Shiffrin will be one of the top skiers from America to compete in the 2024-25 event. The 29-year-old failed to defend her overall title last time around to Lara-Gut Behrami and will be looking for a payback.
Paula Moltzan who won the 2023 World Championships gold medal in team events will also be participating in the event. Moltzan, 30 is still to register any World Cup wins to her name and will aim to change that in the upcoming 2024-25 Alpine Skiing World Cup. The 26-year-old skier Nina O'Brien will also be seen competing at the event.
