Track and Field fans trolled the NFL players amid the Noah Lyles vs Tyreek Hill race talk as Iowa State University's Kalen Walker clocked a blistering 4.15s over the 40-yard dash. It is the second fastest unofficially recorded time, 0.03s shy of Christian Coleman's 4.12s from 2017.
Walker is a fifth-year student at Iowa State University and boasts a personal best of 6.51s over the 60m and 10.09s over the 100m. The 23-year-old is a three-time All-American honoree and finished runner-up at the 2024 NCAA Indoor Championships.
He ran the 40-yard dash during the halftime at the Iowa Hawkeyes football game on Sunday, October 27, clocking a sensational 4.12s. While the official NFL combine record is 4.21s by Xavier Worthy, Walker's run remains impressive. Reacting to his run, one of the fans said in the context of the Noah Lyles vs Tyreek Hill clash:
"And NFL players think they can beat Noah Lyles."

Noah Lyles vs Tyreek Hill is expected to take place in 2025
Noah Lyles has reportedly signed a contract to race the Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill in 2025, as reported by Ad Age. It will be part of a “Super Serious On Sight” series hosted by Terry Crews and fellow Super Serious co-founders, which is partnering with Duael, a new competition to host the race.
The talks of the race between the two started when Hill claimed in an interview that he could beat Lyles in a sprint race. The 27-year-old was fresh off winning the 100m Olympic title and alleged that the Dolphins' WR was 'chasing clout,' prompting a 50-yard 1v1 challenge from Hill.
While Lyles initially insisted that he would only race over the 100m, he later agreed to drop down to the 60-yard, which is likely the event they will eventually be racing in. He has now reportedly signed the contract as well, and the race is expected to take place in early 2025.
