American heptathlete Anna Hall recently shared glimpses of her training sessions as she prepares for the upcoming 2025 season. She concluded her 2024 season at the Paris Olympics and hasn't participated in any professional tournaments since then.
Hall's training session seemingly took place at the Florida Gators Stadium where she attended college a couple of years ago. Hall shared a few glimpses of her training sessions in her Instagram stories.
In her posts, Hall can be seen practicing a plethora of regimes including running and box jumps. The 23-year-old also shared pictures from her gym workouts where Hall can be seen lifting weights.
"I think he wants me to focus," the text overlay read.
"new cycle=new fun supersets," Hall wrote in another story.
Anna Hall was also a part of the University of Florida's track and field team, the Florida Gators, for two seasons after moving from the University of Georgia. She performed impressively for the side and won the 2021 SEC title, the 2022 NCAA Outdoor heptathlon title, and the NCAA Indoor Pentathlon titles.
Anna Hall reflected on her campaign at the 2024 Paris Olympics
Anna Hall opened up about her journey at the 2024 Paris Olympics. This came just a week after the conclusion of the quadrennial event where she missed the podium by a narrow margin and finished fifth in the heptathlon event.
In an interview with Athletics Weekly, Hall said she was in two minds looking back at her Olympic campaign. She mentioned that while she was happy with the hard work and effort she had put in at the tournament, the performances in the Olympics were disappointing for the 23-year-old. Hall said:
"I'm just trying to work through it in my head you know the best that I can, kind of torn between my own disappointment from not meeting my own expectations but still trying to be proud of I guess like the year we had and the work that we put in to get here. So, kind of getting torn back and forth between the two." (at 00:13)
During the interview, Anna Hall also expressed her happiness in being able to make it to the US Olympics team despite undergoing surgery just a few months before the event.
