Ariarne Titmus donned a black-and-blue Nike outfit and toured around Melbourne hours after the Australian Open concluded. Titmus stepped into the commentating role for Channel Nine broadcaster at the 2025 Australian Open.

Enjoying an extended swimming downtime after the Olympics, Ariarne Titmus graced the tennis arena to exclusively cover the Australian Open for Channel Nine. The 24-year-old won hearts with her outfits and for her off-court journalism.

On January 26, 2025, she posted a photo carousel of herself alongside fellow broadcaster Tayla Harris, touring around Melbourne in black-and-blue Nike fits.

"Day in the life - fuelled by @nike 24.7," her Instagram post caption read.

Ariarne Titmus launched her new partner, Mack, amidst a series of photos to sum up her time at the Australian Open 2025 and she was seen leaning on the latter's shoulder while watching the match on the 12th day.

In an interview with Herald Sun, the world record holder in the long-course 200m and 400m freestyle revealed that she has been dating for three months and the Melbourne tennis major was their first outing.

“It’s our first night out in the wild. We met three months ago and I’m very happy.”

Ariarne Titmus participated at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where she won the 400m freestyle ahead of the most decorated, Katie Ledecky. She also recorded an Olympic record-breaking performance to win the 200m freestyle.

The 24-year-old Olympian made waves as the toe-to-toe rival of Katie Ledecky, often outpacing the latter on the pool. Besides interviewing athletes at the 2025 Australian Open, Titmus took the spotlight at Wide World Sports' Instagram handle to share how she would have loved to shine in tennis apart from swimming.

"I am not just saying this because I am at the Tennis. But I actually really would love to be able to hit a tennis ball with some force. I think it would be pretty cool to be great tennis player, I get to wear cool outfits, playing in front of big crowds all the time. I think that would be great.”

At the 2024 Olympic trials, she set a new 200m freestyle world record in 1:52.23 to break Mollie O'Callaghan's record set in 2023. The Australian swimmer who gained global fame as the fiercest rival of Katie Ledecky, clinched the 400m freestyle and 4x200m free gold and settled for silver in the 200m and 800m freestyle. Her impressive performances earned her the Tasmanian Athlete of the Year for the fourth time.
