Ariarne Titmus recently shared a few glimpses of her appearance at the 2025 Australian of the Year Awards held on January 25, 2025. Titmus was awarded 2025 Young Australian of the Year for Tasmania for her exceptional campaign at the 2024 Paris Games.

Titmus, who attended the event with her parents, Steve and Robyn, graced the show in an off-shoulder light blue dress. She paired the dress with minimal jewelry, including pearl earrings and thin bracelets. Titmus completed the look with a white chic clutch and elegant white heels.

For her second outfit, she opted for an off-shoulder light yellow top with white trousers which she paired with white and golden heels. Taking pride and expressing her gratitude, Titmus wrote:

"Celebrating our beautiful country with some remarkable humans these past couple of days ✨"

She added:

"I have been blown away by the kindness, humility and inspiration I’ve felt surrounded by this year’s recipients. Australia is home to some remarkable people and I feel so honoured to have been apart of something so special."

Following her Paris Olympics campaign, Ariarne Titmus is currently embracing her indefinite break from swimming. She has now stepped into the role of commentator for the 2025 Australian Open for Channel Nine.

During an interview with Wide World of Sports, she was asked about the pros of watching sports over competing, to which she replied.

"The best part of watching is not feeling the nerves and pressure. It's nice to be on the sidelines and just letting them do their things for a while and not getting my hair wet. I love having dry hair."

Further, when asked if she could excel at any other sport than swimming, she mentioned tennis, saying:

"I'm not saying this because I'm at tennis but I really would love to hit it on the tennis court with some force. I think it would be pretty cool to be a good tennis player. I get to wear cool outfits, playing in front of big crowds all the time, I think that would be great."

At the 2024 Paris Games, Ariarne Titmus contributed to the team's effort to secure gold medals in 400m freestyle and 4x200m freestyle relay events. The Australian swimmer also bagged silver medals in the 200m and 800m freestyle events.
