Tennis legend Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian celebrated Brittany Brown's successful campaign following her victories at the Athlos NYC. The inaugural edition of Ohanian's brainchild Athlos NYC was scheduled on Thursday, 26 September 2024, at Icahn Stadium in New York City, featuring six events, including 100m hurdles, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m.

Brown secured a staggering prize money of $85,000 at the Athlos NYC after earning success in 100m and 200m, In the 100m, Brown settled in second place after clocking a stunning time of 11.05 seconds to follow Marie-Josee Ta Lou-Smith's 10.98 seconds. The victory helped her earn $25,000.

Moreover, in the 200m, she stunned the crowd after defeating the 200m Paris Olympics gold medalist Gabby Thomas. Brown posted a remarkable 22.18 seconds to surpass fellow American sprinters Gabby Thomas and Anavia Battle, who listed 22.21 seconds and 22.34 seconds, respectively. For this win, Brown collected a whopping $60,000.

Following the rewarding victory, Ohanian suggested the 29-year-old enjoy the win and the reward that came with it. He shared a post of Brown's earnings from the Athlos NYC and wrote,

Apart from the prize money, Brittany Brown also received a silver crown, designed and manufactured by American luxury jewelry brand, Tiffany and Co., which costs $25,000.

Alexis Ohanian recently praised Brittany Brown for enjoying a successful run during the 2024 season.

Brown earned her season's highest achievement at the Paris Olympics, where she bagged a bronze medal in the women's 200m after posting 22.20 seconds to follow 21.83 seconds and 22.08 seconds, respectively.

She also signed a professional contract with Nike following the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials where she settled in second place after posting 21.90 seconds. Continuing her winning streak, she secured her first Diamond League victory in 2024 in the 200m event, listing an impressive time of 22,20 to defeat Neita Daryll and Anavia Battle, who recorded 22.61 seconds.

Following the glorious victories, Brown reflected on her season, highlighting the last meet of the season.

Following this, Ohanian lauded the sprinter saying,

"Be so great they can't ignore you."

Before turning pro, Brown competed in the women's 100m and 200m for the University of Iowa.
